This May, a new brewfest is coming to Bucks County to support a cause close to local hearts. On the afternoon of May 14th, the Friends of Washington Crossing Park will present the Washington Crossing Brewfest.
When: May 14, 2011 12:30PM-4:30PM
Where: Washington Crossing Historic Park (Upper Park- Pennsylvania side- behind the Thomspon-Neely House & along the river)
What: With over 50 participating breweries, get ready for delicious tastings, live music, and a lot of fun!
How: Tickets are $40 ($10 for designated drivers) Get your tickets online at Washington Crossing Brewfest or at one of the participating locations- Isaac Newton’s, Triumph Brewery of New Hope, Bucks Visitor’s Bureau, Yardley Print & Ship, & the Continental Tavern.
The 2nd annual New Hope Restaurant Week is happening this month and this year there are even more amazing restaurants to choose from with Lambertville joining the celebration!

New Hope Fireworks and Holiday Light Show, Bucks Happening’s Top 10 of 2010
While New Hope has always been a fantastic destination in Bucks County, this year the town stepped up its game by introducing Friday Night Fireworks and the Holiday Lights Show. Of course, we had to check out both (multiple times) and New Hope did not disappoint. The best part is, the entertainment is provided free of charge to spectators, bringing in thousands of extra visitors to the quirky town all year long. Uncle Dave’s Ice Cream Gives free ice cream on the 1st day of fall, Bucks Happening’s Top 10 of 2010
