And the winner is….

This morning, the results of Fox Philly’s “Best of Philly” Contest were released.  Now there is a lot of competition, since anyone from Philly or the surrounding ‘burbs can enter.  But Bucks County showed up!!! Here are some of the categories that Bucks County took:

• Yardley’s own Face and Body Spa took the top spot for best Day Spa!
• Best Tanning: Island Sun Tanning of Bensalem.
• Beauty101 (part of Salon Fusion) of Lower Southampton made the 3rd spot for best Wax.
• Best Hair Salon:  Salon Prive in Newtown, #1 Hair Salon!
• Fresh Hair Salon in Southampton took #2 for Hair Salon.
• Best Massage (and I totally agree!!!!) is Escape Away Spa in Lower Southampton. I personally recommend Tanya.
• Healing Massage by Gardner Family Chiropractic in Fairless Hills took the #3 spot for best Massage.
• Best Tattoo & Piercing:  Sink the Ink of Doylestown.
• The Bristol Riverside Theater took the #2 spot for best Theater Company.
• Newtown Arts Company was #3 for best Theater Company.
• Basically Burgers of Doylestown took #2 for best Burger.
• Lenny’s Hot Dogs, of Festerville, #5 for best Hot Dog.
• In the best Lingerie category, #4 went to Sweet Blossoms of Doylestown.
• Best Men’s Clothing: Ventresca, also of Doylestown, also took #4.
• Best Shoes, The Velvet Slipper of Newtown took #4 (they have another location in Peddler’s Village).
• Mother of Five Maternity of Newtown toook #1 for best Maternity Apparel!
• Guy’s Bicycles of Feasterville-Trevose took #5 for best Bike Shop.
• The Newtown Athletic Club took the #1 spot for best Gym!
• Best Bowling:  Happy Tymes in Warrington.
• Best Antiques:  #1 goes to Stenella Antiques of Perkasie.
• The Nest in Newtown won the #5 spot for best Furniture.
• Best Gift Shop:  #1 goes to Unique Boutique in Yardley.
• Best Water Ice:  #1 goes to Yardley Ice House.
• Cakes by Suzy of Langhorne took the top spot in the best Wedding Cake category. Amanda’s Cakery of Quakertown took the # 4 spot.
• Best Wedding Dress Shop:  Baranette‘s of Willow Grove.  The #5 spot went to Ashley’s Bridal of Warminster.
• Sterling Limo of Wrightstown won the #2 spot for best Limo.
• Bigg Romeo of Bensalem won the #1 spot as best Wedding Music!
• Bensalem’s L&M’s Sensational Soiree took the #4 spot as best Wedding Planner (#1 went to my girl Erin Proud! Although not from Bucks).
