M.O.M.’s is donating 20% of their bills tonight to the Our Lady of Confidence Day School in Willow Grove. The proceeds will fund the school’s wish list (which includes iPads and Apple accessories for the students).
The Day School in Willow Grove, PA. has been educating children and young adults with cognitive impairment and developmental delays since 1954.

At opening on Wednesday, March 7th, Isaac Newton’s will be tapping the Flying Dog Kujo Imperial Coffee Stout (8.9%). Once created as an experimental release simply named “Coffee Stout”, the Kujo now has a permanent spot in the annual rotation and will be available each winter. Brewed with locally roasted coffee from Black Dog Coffee out of Summit Point, West Virginia, the beer is described as,
“Deep black color with mousse-like head. Chocolate, black, and roasted malts. Vanilla and chocolate aroma and flavor. Flaked barley and oats for a creamy texture. Dry finish and slightly roasted coffee after taste”
This limited Imperial Stout won’t last long!
On Tuesday January 31st at 4pm, Inside Golf in connection with Yuengling Brewery will be filming live at the Green Parrot Restaurant and Pub in Newtown.
Come out for live shooting and Yuengling beer specials all evening long! The live panel will be hosted by Harry Donahue and will have former NBA referee Steve Javie, golf professional Tony Leodora, golf writer Jack McCafferty and golf writer Joe Logan.
Locals have come to know & love New Hope’s Jamie Hollander over the years; first as an outstanding caterer and then as a specialty food market with scrumptious breakfast, lunch, and take-out selections including their Filet Mignon Cheesesteak; Southern Fried Chicken sandwich; and Barbequed Pulled Pork sandwich.
On Tuesday, December 6th, an intimate group gathered for a tasty evening at Jamie Hollander to celebrate their exciting new venture- their official BYOB dinner service opening! JH has transformed their low-key daytime seating area to create a welcome night-time decor. Bucks Happening was on hand to sample their amazing dinner menu, which will includes everything from a variety of wood-oven baked pizzas to pan-seared grass fed filet. When you live in a beautiful destination like Bucks County, everyone wants to visit! This summer, my house is a revolving door of enthusiastic visitors. More so, many are repeat visitors who just can’t get enough of Bucks. Don’t get me wrong; I absolutely love sharing my passion for my hometown with friends and family. However, it can present a challenge as a host. Where can I bring everyone for a new & unique experience when they keep coming back?
A couple weeks back, I found myself in this predicament. Our group wanted to do something fun & unique, but low-key on a Saturday night. After much discussion, we decided to cross over to Lambertville, NJ for dinner at the Lambertville Station. “We’ll figure it out after we have full bellies,” was the consensus. Already after 9pm, the Lambertville Station was one of the few local restaurants still seating. (more…)
