There’s no doubt about it; Bucks County residents love their local, especially when it comes to farm fresh food. Bucks Happening recently stopped in at Stockton Market, located just seconds away from the Delaware River in the heart of Stockton, NJ. The deceptively spacious store is home to a unique indoor farmer’s market, which is open year-round with regular vendors including local purveyors and artisans, farm fresh produce, artisan cheeses, savory fresh breads and pastries, organic beef, free-range chicken, seafood, organic coffee and teas, smokin’ good BBQ, a chocolatier, hand made baskets and more.
On a lazy Sunday morning, we mosied on over to browse through Stockton Market’s unique vendors, several of which come from Bucks County including Simple Living 101 of Erwinna, El Mariachi of Plumsteadville, and My Fresh Coffee Scoop of Pipersville (more…)

While daughter Bristol awaits her fate on Dancing with the Stars , former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will perform her own fundraising tango today in Bucks County.
Palin will speak to students and teachers at the Plumstead Christian School on Tuesday afternoon. Afterwards, she’ll attend an early 4:30pm dinner at the Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant in Peddler’s Village, where attendees will receive an autographed copy of Palin’s book, “Going Rogue,” all for the cool price of $750 per ticket.
After dinner, Sarah will deliver a Founders Forum address and answer questions from Plumsteadville Christian School students, with tickets running $75-$250 per person. A tribute to military veterans and performances by student musicians at the school’s Plumsteadville campus will close out the festivities.

Don't forget to change your clocks!
It’s that time of year again, to “fall back.” Officially you can change your clocks back one hour, this Sunday, November 7th. But what is all the history behind daylight savings time? Most of us (myself included) probably have no clue of its history and fun facts! Well, I decided it was about time to do some investigating.
