Catch the big game: Football Bars in Bucks

Here are some local football hot spots:

• Green Parrot Irish Pub: 240 N Sycamore St. Newtown. One thing that I love about living in the Philadelphia region is the city’s devotion to great beer.  Almost every bar has at least a few craft beers on tap, and many go way beyond that. The art of enjoying delicious brews is embedded into the rich history of the area, with Philadelphia’s own Benjamin Franklin having said, “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.”

The Luckier-Than-A-Four-Leaf-Clover Guide to Saint Patrick’s Day in Bucks County

Well, it’s that time of year. Gather your kilts, break out the shot-glass necklace and “Kiss Me I’m 1/8 Irish” tee shirts, because it’s Saint Patrick’s Day again!  Now we know it can be tough, finding the proper venue to bring out your Celtic pride. So we’ve gone and put together a list of events all over Bucks County that’ll keep those Irish Eyes a-smilin.’ Now, because this year Saint Pat’s falls on a weekday, we’ve organized events by date.
