Calling all sushi lovers!

There is an amazing deal currently happening at Kyoto in Trevose that was just too good not to share…and just in time for the weekend!

For a limited time, a large portion of the menu at Kyoto (pictured below) is being offered at 50% off – including a wide variety of standard and specialty sushi rolls as well as hibachi options.  The posh new restaurant, which opened it’s doors back in September, is also a BYOB, making dining out at Kyoto an absolute steal.

We have no idea how long this is going to last, but a Kyoto rep confirmed it’s currently being offered on week nights AND weekends. So go ahead- head out to eat without the guilt! (more…)

Guys Bicycles

One lucky little girl's 1st bike!

No matter how many electronic gadgets and gizmos exist for children, there are few things better than a brand new bike sitting under the tree. Whether it’s a toddler’s first bike, complete with training wheels; a “cool” BMX (Bicycle Moto Cross) bike for your pre-teen; a comfort bike for your loved one to cruise down the shore in the summer; or gifts for the hard-core cycling enthusiast, the repeat winner of “Best in Bucks” Guy’s Bicycles, located in Feasterville, has had Bucks County’s biking needs covered for 40 years.

Bikes For Kids:

Purchasing a bike for your kid is no ordinary purchase- it requires expertise, proper assembly, and quality materials…after all, your kids will be spending hours flying around the neighborhood at high speeds on it!  Some important things to consider: (more…)

Single in the Suburbs: Get Ready for Thanksgiving Eve

What’s it like being a single, twenty-something, gal dating in Bucks County? Follow Single in the Suburbs as she takes us on her dating (mis)adventures! For more fun in between articles, follow her on Twitter.

Not only can you guarantee that every bar will be packed, but you can also be sure that you will see that random kid from high school, who barely said 2 words to you back then, but suddenly is very talkative now and is even so bold as to vainly suggest you meet up again, one-on-one, for a drink some time. “It’s been forever!” he says. Really? Forever? What about that time you made fun of me with your friend for getting an A on a test? Or that time you borrowed my pencil and never gave it back? Now you want to get together??

A “Situation” at Parx Casino

I’m sure many of you had heard that Jersey Shore cast member, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, was at Parx Casino on Friday, April 1st. No, it wasn’t an April Fools! When I first saw this I thought, “The Situation!?? IN BUCKS COUNTY!???” I had to go! Despite the eye rolls, that I’m sure that exclamation just caused, Jersey Shore happens to be my guilty pleasure. Hey, I’m not judging your Kardashian obsession… ;) (more…)

Bowling Fun at Brunswick Zone

brunswick-zone-feasterville-004Though it is sometimes an embarrassing experience due to my inability to break a score of 70, a night at the bowling alley is always a good time. That’s why a couple weeks ago, we decided to celebrate a friend’s birthday by visiting the lanes at Brunswick Zone in Feasterville.

Since there was a short wait to bowl due to a busy Saturday night crowd, we headed to the in-house bar. Your probably picturing a typical dingy bowling-alley bar, right? Well, you’d be pleasantly surprised by the scene at Brunswick Zone, where the bar hosts live music, billiard tables, and a picturesque fire pit (pictured below). We certainly didn’t mind the wait!
