On the MOOOOve: OWowCow Ice Cream

A new hand-crafted ice cream parlor has arrived in Wrightstown, just in time to deliciously cool us down in the July heat! While Upper Bucks has been enjoying OWowCow‘s sweet treats for a couple of years already at the initial Ottsville location, OWow’s latest Lower Bucks location only recently opened its doors on July 5th, 2011. Bucks Happening stopped in to get the (tasty) scoop!

All of OWowCow’s flavors are hand-crafted from the good stuff- locally sourced, organic ingredients made in small batches.  Owners,  John & Tina Fezzuoglio, are extremely passionate about the ingredients used in their premium ice creams. For example, Espresso Bean uses locally roasted coffee beans; Mint Chocolate Chip is made from organic mint grown at Peace Tree Farm in Kintnersville; and the fruit for Just Peachy is grown in Solebury. They’re committed to the preservation of local family farms, natural, sustainable food production and the conservation of Bucks County’s majestic beauty. (more…)
