A Symphony of Flavors

Join the Bucks County Symphony for their third annual wine and food pairing, “A Symphony of Flavors,” on Sunday, September 12th from 3:30-7:30pm. Guests will enjoy a variety of wines paired with some of the areas best dishes created by local chefs. The event will take place at Prallsville Mills on the riverfront in Stockton, NJ. In addition to the pairing there will be selections by the symphony musicians along with a “wine and dine” auction.

Marnie Old

A Symphony of Flavors will begin in the afternoon with a limited admission Patron Party for $75 per person. The Patron Party will include wine secrets from wine expert Marnie Old. She is a Philadelphia based wine author, educator, consultant and sommelier. A columnist for Philadelphia Magazine and feature writer for various other publications, Ms. Old is recognized internationally as an expert wine commentator, most recently by Salon.com, The New York Times, Time Out New York and the UK’s Fine Wine Press. As a wine consultant, she assists world class restaurants and organizations (such as Morimoto, Buddakan, Striped Bass, and Bar Ferdinand) with developing their wine lists.

The Main Event Tasting will begin at 5:00pm for $75 a person where Ms. Old will discuss current trends in wine. Wine is being provided by Central Liquiors in Flemington, NJ. The food will be created from the tastes of many local restaurants including Café at Rosemont, The Waterwheel Restaurant, Jake’s Restaurant, Jack’s Roadhouse, Erini Restaurant, Maize Restaurant,Vine & Fig Tree Bistro, and Cal’s Comfort Café.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Bucks County Symphony. The community is encouraged to come out and share in this wine and food experience with some of the area’s most knowledgeable experts.
